How To Open A Hafele Account?
To open an account on Häfele, follow these steps:
- Visit the Häfele website.
- Click on Register to create a Häfele account.
- Fill out the registration form with the required details.
- After registration, an email with the Häfele account number will be received.
- Click on the Sign in / Register link in the top right corner of the website.
- Enter the Häfele account number and password and select the Log on button.
For creating additional users under the Häfele account:
- After logging in, go to the My Account section.
- Select Preferences.
- Choose User Management from the left side menu.
- Select Add New User.
- Fill out the form and after the co-user is created, they’ll receive an email to set up their password.

Hafele Return Policy?
Häfele America Co. accepts most customer returns within 90 days of purchase. The cost of return freight is the responsibility of the customer. All products must be in good, resellable condition and in original, complete packaging. All returns must be authorized in advance by Customer Service. A restock charge is applied to returns which are determined to be customer errors. The restock charges are as follows:
- 1 to 30 days after original invoice date will be credited, less a 20% restock fee or $20 (whichever is greater)
- 31 to 60 days after original invoice date will be credited, less a 30% restock fee or $30 (whichever is greater)
- 61 to 90 days after original invoice date will be credited, less a 40% restock fee or $40 (whichever is greater)
Requests for returns greater than 90 days after original invoice date will not be authorized. Special/Custom/Direct orders are NOT returnable unless the product is defective or Häfele America Co. has made an error in processing the order. Product older than 90 days cannot be returned. All customer returns must be pre-approved through Häfele’s Customer Service department and documentation included with the item being returned. All goods returned to Häfele must be in the original packaging, in resalable condition and must pass inspection before any credit is issued by Häfele. Whenever possible, using an external shipping carton to minimize potential damages to your return is recommended.
